Jerusalem Falafel & Jordanian Bagpipes

I drove down to Rainbow Street yesterday evening to take a little stroll.
It's a fun, narrow street lined with small shops and cafes.  I found Al-Quds (which means "Jerusalem" in Arabic) Falafel and ordered one of their delicious falafels.  It's even better than the other place!
View out over part of Amman
I stopped by Souq Jara, a seasonal (summertime) market that runs every Friday throughout the summer.  Cool souvenirs and a fun atmosphere.
I happened to be at the market when this musical group started doing their thing.

This picture is simply to remind me (in the future) of all the tools I needed to prepare my Gospel Principles lessons in Arabic.  Laptop on the right for looking up words such as "plowshare" and "pruning hooks," in order to show examples of some of the things mentioned in the scriptures.  Green dictionary for looking up Arabic words I don't know.  Gospel Principles manual in Arabic.  Arabic copies of the Doctrine and Covenants and the Book of Mormon.  My iPad with the Gospel Principles manual in English to compare with the Arabic version.  Phew!
